This semester the seminar will be meeting Wednesdays at 1 PM in 2866 East Hall. We already have several talks lined up. The first will be Wednesday (9/14), when Jeff will be speaking about control theory. Later on in the semester, we’ll hear about statistical mechanics, level sets, applications of PDEs to tumor growth, the inverse scattering transform and more.

If you would like to give a talk on your research or an interesting subject you have read about, please e-mail Brittan (uniqname: farbritt). Some suggested topics are: quantum mechanics, climate science, electromagentics, and the matematics of information.
